I admire sotomayor couse she been thru so much and her dream came tru even thol her father passed away she went school did what she had to do,even thol her mom is a single mother and raised her very good i wouldnt of be able to make my dream come tru if my father had past away and my mom was a single mother, the fact that her dad past away when she was only nine she was very little but she did every thing she had to do to grduted from caatrdinal spellman high school in the bronx in 1972 and entered the ivy-league princton university.she received her J.D . in1979 in 1984 sotomayor entered private practice making partner at the commercial litigation firm pavia & harcourt she moved from associate to partner pavia&harcourt1988.when she joined the court,she was the youngest judge.on october 3 , 1998,she was elevated to the u.s. second circuit court of appeals by president william clinto.she was confirmed by a 68 to 28 vote
of the u.s. senate.
